3 Easy Steps To Open and View IQVIA Data
- Sign up for a Gigasheet account.
- Upload your .csv or .json file. Zip large or multiple files to save time. You can also import from AWS S3, Google Drive, OneDrive, Box, or Dropbox, or connect to a database.
- Gigasheet processes and parses the data, then makes it available in a spreadsheet. Click the file name to open it.
From there you can analyze the contents, share the data, or export subsets to CSV. Whether you are working with DDD files, MIDAS data, NSP, or other extracts, Gigasheet handles files far past the limits of a desktop spreadsheet.
- Create an account, then upload your IQVIA data file, typically delivered as a very large CSV. Browse from your local machine, or connect cloud storage such as Google Drive, AWS S3, OneDrive, or Dropbox. Multiple files can be zipped and uploaded as a group; Gigasheet decompresses and extracts them automatically.
- Once the file has uploaded and unzipped, Gigasheet processes and parses it. Large files show a loading bar while extraction completes.
- When parsing finishes, the file appears in your Library with its row and column counts. Click the name to browse it as a spreadsheet.
- With the file open, page through the rows, use Filters to build complex queries, use Groups for segmentation, and use built-in cleanup tools to find duplicates or missing values.
- To export, click File > Export while viewing a table, or split the CSV into smaller files. The zipped export appears in your Library, ready to download.

IQVIA extracts tell you where procedures and prescriptions happen and at what volume. What they do not tell you is what those procedures are reimbursed at, by which payer, in which market. For a MedTech or life sciences commercial team, that second half decides whether a territory is worth the headcount: high procedure volume in a market where the payer reimburses below cost is not an opportunity.
