How To Check For Disposable Email Addresses
- Sign up for a Gigasheet account and upload your data file (XLS, CSV, TSV, or even JSON). You can Zip multiple files to save time.
- After uploading Gigasheet will automatically process and parse your file files to our cloud based spreadsheet. Once complete, click the file name to open your file in Gigasheet.
- Click the Enrichments button, and search for Email Format and select the column in your file that contains email addresses. Gigasheet will add columns to your sheet with information on the address, including if it is disposable or a consumer/free email address service. Gigasheet also includes information on the domain. Gigasheet will add columns to your sheet with the following information:
Format: is the address formatted correctly? Returns Correct or Incorrect
Domain: the top level domain; e.g., gmail.com, walmart.com, etc
Alexa Rank: the traffic ranking it the domain is among among the top 1 million websites
Disposition: Free (e.g., gmail, yahoo, outlook, etc.), Organization (company), or Disposable (fake email boxes)

You can easily filter your list of addresses and export the results as a CSV to download. You can also share or publish the file. Best of all, your data never leaves our platform. Gigasheet supports massive files - up to 1 billion rows in a single sheet!
- First create an account, then simply upload your CSV, Excel or other file containing email addresses in a single column by clicking +New > File Upload > Browse to select a file from your machine. You can zip your file to save time uploading.
- Next your file will automatically upload (and unzip if necessary). For exceptionally large files you'll see a loading bar while the file parses and loads.
- Once complete, click on the file name in your Library to view the file online. The viewer will open a spreadsheet in a new browser tab for viewing. Here you can apply the Email Verification Tools. Hit Enrichments > Email Format & Alexa Rank and a dialog box will appear. Select the column containing the addresses you'd like to validate.
- Once you hit Apply, the enrichment will run and information about your email addresses will be added in new columns to the right of the original email column, highlighted in blue. Use Gigasheet to quickly filter, search, or create pivot tables. You can export your file as a CSV by clicking File > Export. A zipped CSV will appear in your Library for download.
