How much time does it take you to draft a message campaign for your leads?
You segment your leads to cold, warm, and hot. Then, think of a perfect message for each segment. You either write them yourself or use an AI tool like ChatGPT for each of these 3 messages. But what if you wanted to generate an individualized prompt for each lead?
You are going to need a way to repeat the AI prompt over and over again.
What if I say you can use Gigasheet to craft custom messages for all your leads - no matter how many they are - in seconds, using an individualized AI prompt? And yes, you won’t be the one writing a single one those messages.
Let’s see how you can use Gigasheet to create AI generated text messages for your leads.
The goal is to use Gigasheet AI to write custom messages for your leads. This blog is not about the Sheet Assistant Co-pilot that helps you analyze your data - another notable feature of Gigasheet AI. You can watch a video about Sheet Assistant here. This one’s all about enrichment!
Suppose you want to reach out to several leads about a new product update. Here’s how you can go about it.
If you’re already using Gigasheet, you’ll have your own list of leads within the software. If not, you can import one, no matter what the size is.
You just have to sign up (for free) and then click on “New > File Upload.”
As you can see, there are multiple sources from where you can upload a file. It includes Google Drive, Dropbox, One Drive, AWS S3, and more.
Once you upload a file, it will look like this in Gigasheet:
You’ll find “enrichments” on the taskbar in Gigasheet.
If not, you can find “Functions > Enrichments”
Select “OpenAI - GPT for Gigasheet”.
Now, you enter the prompt for ChatGPT to create a custom message for your leads.
Here’s a prompt for this scenario:
“Act as the marketing head at Zavier who wants to inform his leads about the latest feature launch - Automated Flows. You want to run a text message campaign customized with their First Name and Last Name. Guess their pain points by keeping their Job Title in mind. Also, make sure the email subject starts with their First Name. If their first name is missing, guess it from their Email Address. The tone should be semi-profession with a balance of formality and friendliness.”
Paste it into the box:
Now it's time to customize it! Use the Insert Column Reference button to merge in columns from your spreadsheet for the words highlighted in bold. Simply highlight text where you want to place the value from a column and click Insert Column Reference. You will be presented with a list of columns. Choose the appropriate one and click on the column name.
Think of an old fashioned mail merge, or a Mad Libs if you want to go way back to childhood! The values denoted by the "****" are where your spreadsheet values will be merged in. Here's what it looks like when we have done it for all columns:
and it reads like this:
“Act as the marketing head at Zavier who wants to inform his leads about the latest feature launch - Automated Flows. You want to run a text message campaign customized with their first name ****First Name**** and Last Name ****Last Name****. Guess their pain points by keeping their Job Title ****Title**** in mind. Also, make sure the email subject starts with their First Name ****First Name****. If their first name is missing, guess it from their Email Address ****Email****. The tone should be semi-profession with a balance of formality and friendliness.”
The ‘temperature’ feature is to set the tonality of your messages. It ranges from 0 for well-defined to 1 for creative. Here we will go with the middle option.
Once you write the prompt and set the temperature, click on test.
At this point, Gigasheet will provide 3 responses based on your prompt. You can read what ChatGPT generated and if you don’t like any of them, you can simply go back and edit your prompt. This may take some trial and error.
Once you’re satisfied with the generated messages, click on Apply.
Next, Gigasheet will ask you to confirm your enrichment request. Click Run.
Time to sit back and relax while Gigasheet auto-generates your messages.
Once complete, you will be notified!
Gigasheet will add brand-new columns to your spreadsheet.
This is how it looks:
Use the right panel to view the row data. It makes it easier to read paragraphs.
You can click on a specific row to view the full message and customize it to your requirements.
Pretty neat, in my opinion. The file is ready to be exported and loaded into your SMS tool for sending.
Gone are the days when you spent hours crafting the perfect messages for your leads. Gigasheet has successfully reduced that time to mere seconds.
