How To Convert HTML Tables To Excel
- Sign up for a Gigasheet account.
- Provide a link to the URL with HTML. You can optionally upload an .html file. The webpage can have multiple tables.
- After uploading, Gigasheet will automatically process and extract the HTML tables to spreadsheets. Simply export the .csv files and open with Excel.

Detailed Steps to Convert HTML Tables to Excel
- First create an account, then in Gigasheet click +New > File Upload > Link and enter a URL to the file you'd like to extract HTML tables from. If you have an HTML file on your computer, select +New > File Upload > Browse and select the file from your machine.
- Next your file will automatically begin loading and each HTML table will be extracted as a spreadsheet. For exceptionally large files you'll see a loading bar while the file processes.
- Once complete, click on the file name in your Library to view the spreadsheet file online. If there are multiple tables in the html you'll see a folder, and within the folder you'll find a spreadsheet for each table. Click the file name to inspect the contents of the table. Here you can filter, search, or create pivot tables with your spreadsheet.
- When you're ready, click File > Download to export a .csv file, which you can open in Microsoft Excel.
